We believe the Bible to be the verbally inspired word of God, without error in the original writings. (2 Tim. 3:16, 17; 2 Pet. 1:21; John 17:17).

The Godhead

We believe in God, eternally existing in three equal persons Father, Son and the Holy Spirit, who have the same nature and attributes but who are distinct in office and activity (Matt. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14).

The Person and Work of Christ

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the Eternal Son of God, became Man, without ceasing to be God, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful man. (John 1:1, 14, 18; Lk. 1:35; Rom. 3:24-26; Rom. 4:25).

The Holy Spirit

We believe that God the Holy Spirit is a person who restrains evil in the world and convicts man of sin. He also regenerates those who receive Christ, baptize them into the church, the body of Christ and indwells them permanently.(Jn. 6:7,8; 14:16-17; 1 Cor. 12:4-11; 1 Cor, 13; Eph. 4:30. 5:18).

The Angels

We believe that angels are spiritual beings who were created as sinless personalities and that they occupy different orders and ranks. There are both holy and fallen angels (Jude 6; 2 Pet. 2:4; Heb. 1:13, 14).

The Creation

We believe all things in heaven and earth were created by God and exist by His power (Gen. 1:1; Col.1:27; 2:17; 3: 19; Eph, 2:1-3).

We believe that salvation is a gift of God and is received by man through personal faith in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for sin; that man is justified by grace through faith apart from works (Acts. 13:38, 39; Rom. 6:23; Eph. 2:8-10), and that all believers, once saved, are kept secure in Christ forever (Rom. 8:1, 38, 39; John 10: 27-28).

We believe that sanctification is the setting a part of a believer to God and is Positional, progressive and ultimate. i.e., positionally the believer is already in Christ, saved from the guilt of sin. However, there is need for progressive sanctification. (Jn. 17:17; 2 Cor, 3:18; Eph.  5: 25-27; 1 Thess. 5:23; Heb. 10:10, 14).

We believe that the Church, the Body and Bride of Christ, is a spiritual organism, made up of the all born-again believers of this present age. We believe that church began at the day of Pentecost and that each believer is placed into the church by the baptizing work of the Holy Spirit, and the  church is distinct from Israel (Eph. 1:22, 23; 5:25-27; 1 Cor. 12:14; 10:32). We believe that the Local Church is an assembly of professed believers in Jesus Christ who are voluntarily joined together in one locality for the purpose of worship, study of the word of God, observance of the ordinances, Christian fellowship, and to be equipped for Christian service for fulfilling the great commission (Acts 2:42-47; 1 Cor. 1:1- 2; Eph. 4:11-30).

The Ordinances

We believe that Christ instituted the ordinances of water baptism and the Lord’s Supper which are to be observed by believers until He returns (Matt. 28:19-20; 1 Cor. 11:23-26). We believe that by believers water baptism by immersion, a believer publicly identifies himself with the Savior in His death, burial and resurrection. (Rom.6:3-11)

The Rapture of the Church and Second Coming of Christ.

We believe in the personal, imminent and physical coming of the Lord Jesus Christ for the church. This event will be followed by the Great Tribulation of seven years on the earth, which will culminate with the return of Christ to the earth to set up His Millennial kingdom for one thousand years (1 Thess. 4:13-18; Matt. 24:15-31; Rev. 6:17 ; Dan. 9:27.  Rev. 11: 2-3; 19:11; 20:1-6).

The Eternal State

We believe that the souls of believers in Jesus Christ at death pass on to be with Jesus, and there remain in conscious bliss until the resurrection of their bodies at His coming for the church, when soul and body be reunited and shall be with Him forever in glory (Luke 16:19-26; 23:43; 2 Cor. 5:8; Phil. 1:23; 2 Thess. 1:7).We believe that the souls of the unbelievers remain after death in hell in conscious misery in Hades (a temporary place of punishment) until the final judgment of the Great White Throne at the close of the millennium when the soul and body will be reunited and shall be cast into the lake of fire, not to be annihilated, but to be punished with everlasting separation from the presence of the Lord (2 Thess. 1:7-9; Rev. 20:11-15).

The Mission

We believe that the great commission of our Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 1:8; Matt. 28:19-20), is given to us, and we do believe that it is the obligation of the church to be a witness in word and in deed to the truth of the Gospel. We believe that the responsibility for the Biblical Theological College & Seminary fulfilling the Divine Commission is to train and equip Christ’s disciples to fulfill the great commission in India and her neighboring countries and around the world (Eph. 4:11-12).
